We are offering two new training classes to certify more Watermen Heritage Tour captains. The classes will be held in October 2015, one will be in Yorktown from October 5-10, and the second will be October 19-24 on the Eastern Shore in Melfa. Each class will include 2-3 hours for 4 evenings in the classroom learning about business development, marketing, insurance/liability, environmental science, customer service, pricing, and more. Participants will hear from and talk with other watermen running their own tours. The class will also include a Saturday morning on-water practical session to run through actual tour logistics and storylines.
